Buzzing sound -instrument cluster

I have just noticed a buzzing sound coming from the instrument cluster, not loud but annoying ! Like the noise from a light bulb dimmer switch ( rheostat ??) in the house .Could it be a fore runner to something about to blow?

Its a constant electrical type humming sound, as opposed to a mechanical type of sound.

Maybe my ears have become unblocked or something

I am fine thank you. You could try all of the flaps and hot and cold valve settings, you may get to find out what one is causing it, some components are set in varnish, they can break loose, in all too hard I think to pin point

Its specifically and very obviously from the instrument cluster Malcolm. When it lights up as the key goes in, it starts buzzing , and stops buzzing when unlit after key is rermoved
