Thats the power steering fluid, on the cap is a dip stick check it using this. As some one elese said high possibility it's an injector, spray a small a mount of aero start into the intake, if it fires up then more than likely one at fault. You will need them spill port tested to distinguish which one, or more are at fault.

same thing happened to me a while back,Turned out to be the feed pipe from the tank had a pin hole in it . No sign of a leak because pipe is on the top of the tank.Hard one to find.

After the car has tried to fire up there is a buzzing sound coming from the left hand side of the engine then it stops after 20sec, when the ignition is on theres a buzzing sound from the right side of the engine near the power steering resovoir is this normal

Hi, I've had it tested and all the injectors are fine the only fault is a glow plug is not working and the mechanic said this wont stop the car from starting, he said it could be the Fuel High Pressure which he's going to check this week has anyone got any more ideas, thanks.

leaking injector sounds very likely for your problem.

motor cranks but won't start.....you might find it will fire up after 3 - 6 cycles...wont do battery or starter much good though.

mine was worse after a run but not too bad from cold

you need a leak off test, thats the only correct way of telling if the injectors are passing!!

as colechelle

you can make the kit to do this test using

4/5/6 return fuel pipe unions
4/5/6 equal lenghths windscreen washer pipe
4/5/6 syringes from local pharmacy

don't forget to clamp your return pipe after the last injector.
you may not get the merc values but will soon see if one is returning a noticable amount more than the others.

be careful of fuel spills
