I've got a problem with the Brake Assist warning (and sometimes the 'Display Faulty' warning) coming up on my C320. My model doesn't have a brake pedal switch - instead it's got two fluid pressure sensors. My trusted Mercedes independent said that a wiring mod has been issued for C classes to solve this (replacing three wires and connectors into the ECU), but my very early model new-shape C class doesn't need this (it's got and older ECU). Next was suggected replacing the pressure sensors. He's now replaced both of them (one is a real pig to get to apparently), but the BAS warning still keeps coming up - normally about two minutes after first being started on a cold or damp morning. So now we're both stuck, and looking for other suggestions.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.
