C Class engines

I am confused at to what petrol engine are available for a new C Class the web site configure your new car is different to the rest of the site which is different to the brochure.

Basically anything from a 1.8 to a 6.3.

1.8 supercharged 4 pot. In 180k and 200k models-different state of tunes.

Then there is the C230 which is a 2500cc V6, a C280 (IIRC a 3litre V6 or is it a 2.8 V6) then there is a c350 which is a 3500cc V6.

The range topper is C63 AMG but its 6200cc and very FAST

Dependent on budget I'd go for a 280 or 350. The diesels are good too and shouldn't be discounted.
