What make of oil is a controversial subject. Though MB use Mobil 1 and very expensive from them, it can be bought for around £25 for 4 liters from firms like Cosco etc, I use whatever top name oil I can get at a good price at the time, fully synthetic of coarse. I do mine under the normal service interval. the Filter is best bought from MB. I do not think you can buy Online.
We have had many threads on this subject,do a serch.

Welcome to the forum. Malcolm.

Re the gearbox fluid, these are no loner sealed for life, and the oil and the filter should be changed at 60k miles.

Hi & Welcome,

Go and see the parts department they will sell you all that you need. If you look in the technical section - Engine there is a sticky posting by Oilman with details of lubricants.
If you update your profile to display your general location then recommendations can be made for independant MB specialists in you area. It is also not a bad idea to add your car details to your signature.

You just walk into any MB dealer and ask for an oil filter,it is a standard spare part. I have never heard of anyone being refused.
