C180 AMG 1600 64 Plate Bonnet driver side latch stuck shut engaged..Cant shut bonnet on that side .. How to release please

Hi first post

I have a C180 AMG 1600 64 Plate Bonnet driver side latch stuck shut engaged..Cant shut bonnet on that side ..

How can I release it please so i can shut bonnet. Other side is fine. I tried to pull the trigger and it seems locked closed shut and need it open disengaged so when I shut the bonnet
the hoop on the bonnet triggers latch from open to close.

Put a hook screwdriver and and angled in under the latch pulled and released
