c180 bhp ????

just bought a c180 esprit manual says 90kW whats this in english money please.aaaah while im here,manual says paint code of front. no probs but there is 6 rows of numbers.the bottom row says 8(i think) 744. got on a yank site and 774 is brilliant silver. would this be the right code (well the car is silver?? regards ken. (use to be on the 190e site had cossy 190. sold it bought a bmw. packed up 3 times already. so you can see im back in the mb fold (c180 aint they slow?) soon for sale bmw 1.8 is coupe?

its another way giving HP x 745 = KW = x0.0013 = HP.

9744 is briliant silver and they only do the one

According to the MB direct used site (which is a great source of tech details) the C180 is 122bhp.

Are you sure your maths is correct?? By your conversion 90Kw = 0.117HP. My lawn mower is better than that. But thinks? my lawn mower is better than a C180!!! Ha! Ha!

The ratio is

1 horsepower = 746 Watts (0.746KW)

or

1 KW = 1.34 BHP (1/0.746)

90KW therefore = 1.34X90 = 120.6BHP
