My 97 C180 shows symptons of faulty temperature sesnsor, runs ok hot,if a bit low on power, when cold pops and cuts out,wont accelerate then idles rich breiflytill warm. No faults on ecu check,sensor reads ok at cold , Maf (hfm) and throttle body clean,no splits in pipes etc, is there another temp sensor i can check, none on inlet, perhaps built into maf sensor?Does evaporative purge system cause trouble? canister not servced. Think I'll take the throttle body off to give a proper clean, will it re align itself?
