C180 Coupe Dent

I have a couple of parking dents on my merc, one has broken the paint which is on the rear bumper and the other hasnt.

I have been quoted £30 to push the door ding out and £120 to fill and paint the rear bumper.

Has anyone had one of these mobile guys out? He said that for the door ding they just roll the dent out? How good is it?

We use a specialist "paintless repairer" - it's all down to experience and a good specialist will be able to remove most "parking dents" as long as the paint isn't broken.

But I would be apprehensive to let a "paintless repairer" carry out paintwork on my cars - it should be done in a paintshop with an oven etc.

Paint less dent removal is OK if it is done well as MIW615 says, re the bumpers there is no way that a patched painted bump would look OK without going through the correct process, the paints used are not the same

as above - I had a parking dent removed from my rear door and I'd challenge anyone to see where it was, so paintless dent repair is excellent.
As far as the bumper is concerned, for that money I'd expect a proper oven respray anyway so if not, ask a bodyshop.

Thanks for your replies. What has been said was what I was thinking. I will get the dent done and bumper sprayed.
