From above,,if you have a multi meter you can measure it and it should be 1k ohms

When I get the car back I will check that out. How do I test the fuel pump relay?

The numbers on the socket do not relate to the ones on the relay and you would need to bridge 30 and 87 on the relay, but if no injector pulse, not sure about it being that but worth a try

Yes that is the standard way of testing to get the fuel pump to run all of the time, if no pulse, the the car will still not start

When I called the recovery guy on the day, I discovered a 5 amp fuse on the battery terminal blown and he replaced it but still nothing. Thought mention this might mean anything?

I got the car back now and did the tsts. The garage had tested them as well and they are alright. The bridging of the relay did not work either I think Malcolm is right in saying there is no pulse in the fuel injectors. That all points to ecu.

Where is it located and what does it look like? How can I get at it?

Thanks guys for you advice.

The crankshaft sensor is the biggest reason for all cars doing this, it is this that gives the pulse to the ECU's

The garage fitted a new one and they said it wasn't that.

Then all I can do is to give you a print out on the ECU pins and the voltages there on.

But I need the next 3 numbers after 202 and the build date
