c180 immobiliser

The rearview mirror lights flashing ,i have to go through the proceedure of disconnecting the battery numerous times and pressing the key numerous times to deactivate the immobiliser, all the time with the alarm sounding ,wife is getting fed up doing this in the supermarket car park .
done the new key and wait 2wks for replacement,
what wiring do i play with to by- pass the immobiliser,any advice gratefully accepted

please help no lights in rear view mirror car battery of good strength new fob batteries but nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

new key fixed this problem on mine. there have been a number of these recently. cant remember what the cure was though. if i get chance i will search for them and try to find out

kevin, have you checked the key to see if the infrared is working? just look at it through a digital camera and press the button - you should see the IR as a pinkish colour. do you have a spare key at all? i assume not or you would have said.
