Hi all - I am so sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but although I can see some discussions on the subject, I can't find the answer to my question. Please help if you can.

I have a C200 that, I guess, has the orginal TeleAtlas GB & Belfast 2003/2004 Navigation CD. Last week I went to Colchester, and for most of the route it kept telling me I was "off road". I'm guessing there are some new roads built post 2004 that my CD doesn't know about.

So, simple question. Is it possible to buy a new Navigation CD and, if so, is it a simple case of inserting it into the car dashboard?

Thanks.

Could be two things here, yes if on new roads then you could be off road, if it still says off road when on older roads then possibly the GPS antenna has failed, if you disc or system is a DX (marked on the disc) then you can buy a new one for £115 direct from Tele Atlas

Thank you Malcolm - the systems works fine on old roads, and I'm pretty sure I need a new disc. Thanks for the link.

Malcolm - I should have added, is it a case of just inserting the disc into the dashboard, or is it a more complicated job?

Sorry I should have said,,you just remove th old one and insert the new and it will activate in about 3 mins, if the roads you were on were very new, then they may not be on the new disc
