Hi all - this is my first post, so please be gentle with me - especially if I am asking something really silly.

But a few days ago, I was driving on the motorway with my SAT NAT on. And somehow, I managed to turn the volume of the lady giving directions really low. I've since looked at menu options, but for the life of me, I cannot get the volume to get any higher.

Now, when I am driving with the radio on, I just cannot hear the instructions.

I am sure there must be a simple fix - any ideas my Merc driving friends?

I believe the balance Nav/ radio is in the language menu, go to the vol diff at the bottom

Thanks - but I am sure I have tried that. I found the "volume" option on the SAT NAT menu and turned it right up - but it made no difference.

It's really frustrating, 'cause I'm sure it is just some button I've pressed by accident!! Urgh!!!!!!!!

While the lady is giving directions turn up the volume, either by the steering wheel buttons or the vol knob. Next time she speaks the volume will be as just set. This will not alter the radio/CD volume.

Cheers Whitenemisis - I'm going to try this in the next day or so (only usually drive the car at weekends).

Take care.
