C200 Convertible

I just bought a 2018 C200 Convertible online from an MB dealership.
I checked the car over on delivery but was confused when I looked in the boot. There was no tool kit, no jack, no warning triangle, no puncture repair and no jack. Is that correct.

When it was new it was very much about weight reduction to reduce emissions to get lower VED.

What does the owners manual say it should have?
I’d expect a warning triangle - it might be inside the boot lid (my SLK has it there)

Also check the roof strings in the back quarter, loads of reports of fraying that is very expensive to fix .

If no spare wheel then you should have a compressor, plus a Jack & wheel brace.
Also a warning triangle & first aid kit.
No excuse if this is a Merc franchise.

A238 E Class Convertible Roof strings worn and snapped

Thanks it's an A207. Well sir the good news is that the A207 doesn't suffer the roof string woes of the A238 so you shouldn't need to acquire a new strings kit! So just the pesky chrome to get on with for us both! I might ask Grangemouth for a price for a new one you know, just so I can fall...
