C200 (W205) AMG Line Door Mirror Puddle Lighting

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether the door mirror puddle lights (underside of the mirror housing) come as standard on the C200 W205 AMG Line. I have looked everywhere but cannot find any reference as to whether or not they do. Plus dealer is a little clueless.

Similarly the exterior door handle lighting, if possible

Has anyone got one (without the Premium or Premium Plus packages) who can confirm?

Hi I have the 2015 c200 amg line, and it has the door puddle lights and mirror lights.

How do you get them to work?
I have ambient lighting and can see the led bulbs but it doesn't seem to light up at any point.

Go into the vehicle settings menu and scroll round until you come to lighting. Then select the options you want / need. The on-board handbook describes these operations and there is also an one on-line available for bed-time reading.

I've got the premium pack, the tell tale sign are the chrome handle trims which signify LED door lights which incidentally fail, I've had three replaced. I think the mirror lights are standard across the range but "Ambient Lighting" well it's best described as subtle. Any pictures you've seen of it have been photoshopped, that glow in the brochures just doesn't happen.

Guys can I jump this thread as you have the same model as me? I am wondering if any of you have a problem with stop start light not going green often? It was fine until a couple of months ago now its all over the place.

Absolutely, haven't seen it working for a couple of weeks. Perhaps it's because the outside temperature is in single degrees. Tried running with everything off, in eco mode to no avail. I'll give it until April then I'll try and get it fixed under warranty.

Thanks, I am not alone then! My previous 220 diesel was never like this, worked flawlessly whatever I threw at it. However this c200 petrol seems not to like going eco in cold weather, although I am sure that it was fine last January 2015 when I bought it.

Bit warmer today and I drove a bit further than usual, it did work but not for more than five minutes.

I thought I had it cracked as a low temp issue, so I went out like you today in 7.5c down to 4.5 c tonight and after 48 miles it came on ! so that theory is straight out the window. Now thinking about the Battery? The trouble I find is that the Mercedes guys are fitters and don't understand these problems.
