C200K Estate auto 2006 won't start

Hi Guys,

My car wont start. It has a recent battery and was fine yesterday!

Radio and central locking all ok, but nothing when I turn the key

Any advice?

Have you a second key you can try, to eliminate a broken PCB inside the one you are using?

AA came, reckon its the starter motor. I am not convinced about that though...

When you put the key in the ignition, can you hear the release noise?

That would rule out the ignition switch

Yes it releases ok

AA bloke thinks that the starter is requiring too much power from the battery

Solved. It was the starter motor...
