Hi guys,

whilst rummaging around my spare wheel today,
i found along with the towing eye,
a solid aluminium rod about 5" long and 3/8 inch diameter and threaded at one end,
At first sight it looks like a Tyre Pressure Gauge, but isn't.

What is it ?

Take out the cover panel in the bumper and it screws into the front chassis member

When you change a flat tyre, you screw that into one off the bolt holes in the hub and it aligns the spare for refitting!

When changing wheels you screw it into one bolt hole. You can then locate the wheel on it and fit the first bolt easily

The big one is the towing eye and the little one for the wheels
