Hi Guys.
I have a 2001 C220 D Auto.
i was driving to Guildford on Saturday, About 30 miles from home.
Just as i got to my destination it was as if someone knocked it out of gear, i gave it a few revs then it "banged" back into gear & was off again??
I have noticed in the last few weeks the gear change has not been a smooth as usual ??
I do have a code reader Snap on solus, i am not sure if it will read the gearbox but i am going to plug it in tommorow to see if there are any codes??
I just thought i would run it past every one on here first to see if there is a common problem.
If it is a common fault & could be expensive i may p/x the car before it costs me an arm & a leg.
