Hi All

Where is the best place (cheapest) to get front shock absorbers for the above vehicle.
I suppose its best to use mercedes parts?
any info would be helpful. Are they easy to change or are special tools required?

I would agree with Teky try euro carparts.

no need to go for gen merc shocks, just go for
Bilstein ones as the original merc shocks are made
by either Bilstein or Sach anyway.

from my experience from changing shocks on my 190
no special tools are required as you don't need to remove
the coil springs. you just need a bottle or tolley jack under
the spring before removing the shock.

C220 CDI Shocks

Hi All

Cheers for the replies, I ordered them from local LCP automotive in the end
£138 including £12 speedy delivery charge and vat.
And they were a piece of cake to fit

The Garage quoted me £350 to supply and fit what a rip off.
