Hi All,

Recently of the evening ( and usually if it has been raining ) if I come to a stop and turn the engine off the main beam light appears on the instrument panel, then the headlights go off and various malfunctions appear. Sometimes it starts out as four malfunctions then it drops to three then down to one then back up to four again. If I try to start the car the gearbox has locked. However, when the AA guy eventually turned up it started no problem

My mechanic cannot figure out the cause. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

I think it will be the front SAM gone down,,putting the car on STAR would confirm this, do you have a good indie near you
