Today @ GAD we had been set the task of remapping the c220 CDI engine.
Vehicle - C220 CDI 150 BHP
Turbo Back Exhaust
3" from flange
New MAF
Air Filter
Premium Fuel
We first read the software from the vehicle a noticed immediately the boost pressure max out put was only 17 PSI, this would be a cause for both poor MPG and Performance. Once the leak was sorted (loose VAC), we got to work now the boost was around where it should be 20-22 PSI. We changed the duration and torque limiters for starters then changed boost and MG per stroke. After the first map making a little under 200 BHP we added a 1 PSI off boost extra with the torque limiter changed @ 1000 to 2500 slightly higher than the rest of the map.
The Result - 220 BHP 480 NM with no Smoke and EGR disabled
