Hi,

My C220 CDI 2007 W204 showed the following errors via the iCarsoftt MBII diagnostic BEFORE the battery was changed:

Component Y100/1 (Right charge pressure positioner) has a short circuit to ground
Check component G3/2 (O2 sensor upstream of cat) Short
A10D00 The power supply is too low
Check N10/1 (Front SAM control unit ...) N10/1kl (Circuit 87 relay, engine) Serial error

I changed the battery, as it was the original Varta battery, which had finally croaked after 10 years as I could not start the car. NOW I cannot see those codes again! Am I lucky and all those codes are a result of a previously dying battery? Have bought the Bosch O2 sensor and prefer not having to install it plus looking at the turbo ECU at the same time for any loose wires.

Anyone out there with a black belt in electrickery?

They are power supply related codes so you could well have fixed it with the battery change, strange beasts these Mercedes!

If you clear the codes in that sector even if you cant “see” them, and they dont return. I would say you are good to go.
When I had a defective new battery, I persistantly got about 3 fault codes.
Another working new battery, solved ( run for a year not recurring ) them.

Mobilo guy said these cars like to see at least 12.3V. Anything under 12.1V and they can go nuts!
