Hi, I have an intermittent problem (becoming more regular) whereby my 2001 c220 cdi starts for a second or two then stops. On attempting to restart, the car will turn over but will not start. The problem occurs after the car is parked overnight, rarely does it occur when starting after a days work. The problem does not arise when the car is pointed downhill on an incline overnight. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Almost certainly air in the fuel lines caused by leaking O Rings at the connections.
