C220Cdi 2007 W204 Air Con and Cooling Fan

Hi, the aircon on my car (facelift model) ceased to cool and I also noticed that the cooling fan was running all the time even though the engine temperature was OK. Local non-Mercedes garage refilled the aircon but it still didnt work even after a second attempt. They think it might be electrical and checked the fuses but no joy. They are now calling in a Car Electrica man to check it out.

Does anybody have experience of this issue?

I did read somewhere that the ECU may be involved but...

Any help appreciated.
