Yes, I have found lower edge of my (otherwise immaculate) estate door is bubbling up on the outside and paint is peeling on the inside. Have you found an answer? Can we claim under MB body anti- corrosion warranty as 2nd owners?

Yes you can I claimed on my 1999 C200 as the second owner - Get down to your dealer :wink:

rusty tailgate

my problem was paint bubbling up under the inside of the bottom edge of tailgate. merc have today agreed to complete new tailgate. also near side rear window lower trim is bubbling and they are going to change that as well (first comment trim not covered)

2nd owners - dont know but mobilo life is for 30 years, chase merc customer service 01908-245712, my comment to them was - do you expect a car of this age to be rusty ? the finer points of the warranty are of no interest to me
