c220cdi starting probs

hello, sorry to ask for help on my first post.
my 2003 c220cdi wont start, its fine if you use a little easy start but as soon as you switch it off it wont start again. Have replaced both high and low pressure pumps and there are no fault codes present, dont think its the plastic pipes as the fault happens instantly.
any help appreciated, Tanks

I had one like this the other day but it was on a e220 cdi. I would start if you gave it a bit of easy start and would run fine then if you turn't off and tried to re-start i woundn't go without a bit of easy start! My probelm was a faulty injector, If this is the probelm on your you can check this by removing the engine cover then on top of the injectors you will see a black leak off pipe that join to all injectors. If you remove this for all of them then crank the car over and check to see if there is one injector leaking off a lot worst than any others! There is a measurment for how much should leak off but i don't know it off my head but usually you can tell a faultly injector without it!!

Hi,
I've had 2 injectors leaking off at different times. Apparently a common fault especially 02-03 reg 2150cc engines. Total cost recently for diagnosis, removal, repair and refit was £185+vat from a diesel fuel injection specialist.
