If the warning light has come on you must replace the sensors on the calipers
as well

Hi its the pad wear sensors, you should replace them, recommend dealers as these are colour coded and there are now quite a few types. John

We have had this question before, the last guy disconnected them and the light was still there, that was on a different series to yours. If the sensor wire is not grounding somewhere or leaking to chassis then mabe only the diag test can remove it. A resistance check would tell all.

A badly fitted brake pad sensor could be one answer, but also check the brake fluid level. But i think a bad sensor or sensor fitting is more likely. check the connections on all the pad sensors.
