C220D M reg heater plugs

C220D M reg heater plug problem??

i came to start the engine this morning and the heater plug light did not light up, it started but coughed & spluttered for a few seconds then ran ok
i put the car into drive and set off (about a min after starting) and the heater plug light came on

just done the same now after being parked all day

any ideas please

cheers ! thats what i thought but will be getting it sorted friday hopefully
