C230K 5 speed box oil leak

The leak is now cured. The cause was gearbox oil creeping along the threads of the bolts that secured the bell housing to the gearbox.
I also purchased a gearbox dipstick from Mercedes for £21 + VAT

Good investment, I would check the transmission as often as the engine oil. However remember to have the engine running when you check the transmission oil level.
