c230k timing chain

I have a c230k 1998 with 86k on the clock, my question is, should I worry about a little timing chain noise when hot on tick over? seems to me every mercedes I have owned has made some kind of chain noise, just looking for reassurance. Interestingly, if the car has a slight downhill attitude the noise disappears, oil level right! cheers, Timbo

Must be just the ones you drive that make the noise,,,i drive all types of mercedes and have never heard any timing chain noise...
