As I said opinion only.
The law is very clear.
It's illegal.
It will fail a properly conducted MOT.
It will fail a VOSA inspection.
It will invalidate insurance unless declared (which is then evidence for illegal tampering).

You can post as many insults as you like, the facts don't change.

If things were that bad Alistair all the MOT testers I know would be dead !

In fact one veteran tester 72 , now part time can out run his daughter 30 years his junior , she smokes BTW !

Bigger more truthful things to worry about like someone who cheated death 10 years ago with misdiagnosed Bronchitis that was really pneumonia , 3 months in hospital , collapsed lung , afterwards COPD and emphysema .

COVID-19 and they're gone .

And JD is worried about someone wanting to make their car more efficient..
