Hi all my car is a 1998 saloon and i am a little unhappy about the way the car feels when being driven a friend suggested that it may be a bit light at the rear and that some weight may help, i put in about 60kg and sure enough it was much better, the question is how can i make the car feel as though i have a boot full without actually filling the boot,i have thought that keeping the diesel tank full would help but any ideas ??

Then are the shockers U/S does it bounce if pushed down hard, or any rear end bouncing when driven.

I cant re call anyone complaining about the ride when everything is OK

Try both sides, push down and the car should rise with no bounce, there is nothing much else that will affect the handling, for traction could b down to the tyres fitted
