Hi Guys
Looking for some advice. ABS warning light and the one above it came on last week so no ABS (No worrys) but seem to have lost cruise as well.So booked into local MB dealer for repair.
Then yesterday on a long journey down to Yorkshire Auto box went into third and stayed there a couple of times. When I stopped for 5 minutes it was ok then half hour later and a little town driving and its back into thrid. What do I do? How much is it all going to cost? Should I trade it in for a Skoda?

Any advice would be apreciated.

Yours

Ian,
When MB's start generating lots of odd faults, they often come down to the OVP relay. It can stuff up the current to lots of the electronics - Hence no ABS, cruise, confused engine management etc. The problems can appear random so this may be all it is. I understand they can be repaired or are less than £100 to replace so don't start ordering the skoda just yet!

Hi

Brake light switch would give the ABS and cruise symptoms, auto could be unrelated. Brake light switch costs about £10 and is supposed to be simple to fit.
