Hey guys, I'm new here and to owning a MB (getting my c270 wagon from my dad as my second car after it has been sitting waiting for a new engine for a few years now which I'm gonna be doing soon) as well as generally doing anything to cars that isn't changing the oil and filters so I'm basically a complete beginner who has just been reading stuff on the internet for the past month.
I am aware that trying to tune this car meaningfully is for the most part not so worth it compared to buying something like a c320 but I have basically grown up with this car as we've had it since 2007. Basically I want to squeeze some more power from it within reason and I have been reading some previous threads but a lot of the advice has basically been to buy a different car which I cannot do due to not having a lot of money as a kind of broke 23 year old.
I've been reading up about torque limits for the gearbox which have been worrying me a bit if I'm to do anything like a turbo upgrade but I'm basically open to all and any suggestions and information. No clue if I should look for a different engine as I need to replace the current one regardless.
For context I live in Bulgaria if that matters whatsoever but I'm more than willing to import parts if needed and am aware this might be a long term project before I can daily the car.
