Help!
My C270 estate (W203, 2003) will start and runs OK, but then after a few miles or maybe 10 minutes, will just die and will not re-start (Cranks over fine and all dash lights as they should be) If I leave it for around an hour or more, then it will re-start and the whole cycle starts again! [Fuel tank showing about 2/3 full] I have noticed that when it cuts out/will not re-start the fuel gauge still registers 2/3, but the yellow, low fuel light is on!

That sounds like a crank position sensor breaking down but it needs the codes reading to confirm.

CPS sounds likely, and may restart when cooled down.
Didn't some have issues with the earlier 203 having tanks that saddle the prop and didn't transfer fuel from one to t'other?

Yep but I can't see why leaving it a short while would allow it to restart if the fuel transfer was failing.

A weird one. Initial thoughts would be CPS but I would check the fault codes first.

The only one I did have similar was a splay in the high pressure pump chuck key.
