C280 check engine light

I have a 1994 C280 runs like a clock but shampooed the engine the other day and the check engine light came on is there a way to reset this.

Hi Brian

There is no check engine light on your model. Are you sure your discription is correct. Not low level oil warning light???

I am sure the light says check engine i also have a low oil light. I checked with a Benz dealer and he says i probably got a plug wet when i shampooed which caused the check engine light to come on but they want 90.00 to reset.
