Thanks for all those replies about the changing of a w202 oil filter.However, it appears that the thing i need is called a "cup wrench".
This is a cup shaped cup thing which measures 74mm AF and fits over the
end of the filter cap.Part of it is a hex nut to which one fits a socket.All i need now is the said tool.Any ideas where i might buy one in the U.K. (there is no hex as part of the filter cap).
