c320 heated seats

Hi!

Have just registered and would appreciate help on a fault with drivers heated seat. Have checked fuses all are ok. Passenger seat heater is working fine. Can the seat element be replaced? If so any idea on cost?

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum, its an straight forward job doing the seat heater. there will be a fuse somewhere that could have blown or it could be the heater pad.

A voltmeter on the connector under the seat will tell you where the fault is.

heated seats

I have a 300SL 1992 and cannot work out whether the seats are heating up or not-Sometimes I think it is psychological! Is there any specific way of telling as there does not seem to be any voltage drop when I turn them on. I cd always tell the difference when I used them in my 1984 500SEC but those were cloth not leather seats. The fuses appear in order. Can anybody help?
