Sure what else would we spend our money on? Drugs and loose women? :D
Been there, done that, got the tee shirt! But nothing gives as much pleasure as a well sorted powerful Mercedes. To paraphrase Rudyard Kipling "a woman is only a woman but a good motor is a drive".

UPDATE:

So, front discs and pads have been replaced, something I wanted done. They were probably fine for another few thousand miles but I hate that feeling on the brake pedal when the discs are even slightly warped :(

After a pressure test or whatever they did, they found the source of the coolant leak at the water pump. So it's been replaced along with a belt whenever they were there. Still waiting to hear back if that's everything, but hoping we're good to go and my heating is back too ;)

Common fault on the 350 CDi, mine was replaced last year

Just got it back. Braking is perfect, no leaking coolant and the heating is working great. On the way home I did notice it could do with an alignment done, but more noticeably, it does seem a fair bit quieter :) £604 all in, so I'm happy with that.

Things to get done over the next few weeks/months...

The passenger seat is missing the black wheel on the side of it, not sure of its proper name - eBay or where would you recommend to get one?
Bad scratch on the passenger door and a small dent on the back left wing needs a spot repair.
Wheels need refurbished, but will leave that until after winter.

Any recommendations for mods? :D

Is 265bhp not enough? lol.

Is high mileage a consideration when thinking about a remap?

Anyone know if this is the correct part number for the cover on the right hand side of the drivers seat?

A20491804309051

I can't work out if that's for the passenger seat or drivers seat :(
