Hi there, picked up a 2016 C350e today. And found out that the car does not charge with the provided granny cable. It seems that the car is unable to lock the type 2 connector in the car. One can hear that there is some servo moving and one can feel it as well as the plug is slightly moving. But it seems that the locking attempt is unsuccessful as the car does not start charging and the cable can be unplugged.
Went to a 43kW AC charger with a type 2 plug and tried again to charge... same thing. locking noise twice, but unsuccessful and then one can pull out the plug again. No charging.
Any ideas?
