C350E Radar Sensor Dirty

[2017 Mercedes Benz C350E]

Hello there hence my name i own a 2017 Mercedes C350E and during my drive to work this morning a message has popped up on my screen between both my dials stating Radar Sensor Dirty please check operators manual.

This is a first time for me that this has ever happened and how do i fix this?

Hello.

Just need to give the front of the car a clean, specifically the (probably) plastic panel somewhere on or below the grille.

A build-up of snow or slush has triggered that warning on my car before.

Thanks seems like its fixed its self up after driving for a bit

I thought the radar for adaptive cruise was within the 3 point star when fitted. If fitted, the back of the star is shiney ... if it's not, it's not.

I would say its dirty and needs a clean. Probably not a surprise this time of year with all the wet and leaves being thrown up.
The owners manual will tell you hopefully where it is and what to/not clean it with.
