Welcome. Hope you have a good warranty. Any hybrid/battery related problems can be horrendously expensive to fix which isn’t good when it’s your own money you’re spending!

What sort of electric only range can you get?

Depends what your interpretation of "horrendously expensive" is, but yes I took out 2 years extended warranty and a service plan with Mercedes, £1300 for the warranty and 40 quid a month for the service plan seemed good value. I don't get more that 12 miles electric range. Doesn't bother me and as I have said on the electric vehicle forum it's not only the range but where you do those miles. All my electric miles are around town and that has to be good for the environment.
