C36/C43 Seat Cushion Collapsing

Hi There,

A neighbour of mine, Khaild, runs an almost identical C43 to mine (which confuses the guys at the local car wash) and is having problems with his driver's seat.

Basically it's collapsing at the right hand side - not the bolster but the main centre section.

Khalid fitted a new (Merc-supplied) cushion inside but after a few days the problem has recurred. No obvious spring problems.

Any ideas?

BSG Mercedes reckon it's the spring base - he should have changed it at the same time as the cushion....oh well.
