c43 amg

Looking into buying a C43/c36 amg.
But cannot get info for converting it from auto to manual..!
Has anybody on here performed such a task or is it a no go?
Any info will be greatly appreciated...

The C36 AMG was based on a C280 donor car. I'm sure it was possible to get a manual gearbox with that engine,so you may be onto something there. I've never heard of a manual gearbox on a V8 though.

Hi,
There was an option on a manual gearbox in the SLC V8 equipped cars, but as 74 merc has said go for the C36 if you really want a manual conversion, as the C class had a manual option and the 280 engine had a manual gear box so parts and fitting should,nt be to much of an issue though I think I would get an earlier 4 speed Auto version as the base car.
