C43/C55 air intake manifold question

Hi everyone,

I'm cleaning my intake manifold as part of the engine overhaul and I noticed that it is coated in crap and oil and I thought, the baffles inside the unit, is it worth keeping those in there because a found that vrp performance have an intake manifold with no baffles, maybe i can just remove mine. Will it help flow? Or just cause more issues.

I really can't be arsed to clean the baffles. I have started to clean the casing but it's a bit of a horrible job. And I knew someone will say its a non serviceible part, but I'm doing it.

I'd be tempted to spray it with Gunk cleaner, then use a bottle brush attached to a drill to clean inside each baffle
