C63 AMG remapping!!!

Hey guys,

We have been stacked over the last week and with other issues made it hard for us to pop on the forum but we are back!

Had a lovely C63 AMG in for the GAD treatment amongst some other nice bits!

We chucked her on the Dyno and she put out stock which is always nice!!! After we tuned her we took her back to Emerald and she put out 517bhp which is always nice. Exhaust note is a little deeper and also the pops and bangs are most pleasing to the ears!!!

We have seen plenty of other tuners saying they can get 540bhp from a stock car which is simply impossible! We have even had a couple come to us which we have dyno at 502bhp not 540bhp which is very naughty indeed!!!

Our customer in the future will be having long tube headers supplied by Projexuk and of course will be back in for some more tuning which we will expect to see 550-560bhp but only one the day will we know!

Below is a couple of snaps and also a little something we have been busting our balls on for the last couple of weeks.

The Beetle is racing in the VW cup and is only one of two running diesel engines! There is a horse power cap at 230bhp in which after that weight must be added! However there is no cap to torque output so we tuned her and got 214bhp which is lovely as they can now take weight off but due to Gary's wizardry she is putting out 458nm of torque!

Good results, and a happy customer I bet.

Carbinio or Renntech intake would get another few BHP.
I fitted the Carbinio one and got another 10 BHP on Dyno with Re-Map.

Long tube headers will make it sound insane along with good gains.

Good afternoon,

It has been very rare that we have seen an intake make any actual power difference. IAT's reduce very slightly but with an N/A engine every little helps! Same can go with the argument for performance filters sometimes you see improvements on the dyno sometimes you don't?!?!

I agree I was surprised to see an improvement and never take Dyno figures as gospel.....it's to easy to fudge them.
However the carbon intake looks sweet......especially with the Weistec supercharger sat between it
