After having the car recovered from the wheel incident, I don't have any ignition lights and it won't start. It started to get neutral to get it on the recovery truck, but when we came to get it off it was dead.
Is there a kill switch somewhere?
I've checked the fusible link under the bonnet at the boost terminal with a meter and that's OK

Seen something on another thread about a towaway system, what's this and where (if I have it) would I find it?

What was the wheel incident? Did airbags deploy?

Steering lock motor may have failed, what happens when you put the key in the ignition?

Caught the kerb and the rim was damaged. Locking wheel bolt stripped so had to be recovered home. Car started to get it on the truck, but was totally dead when we tried to get it off again. When I put the key in the display in the speedo wakes up but when I turn the key nothing happens. No airbags deployed

Is the battery flat........? How long was it on the recovery truck?

Sounds like the ezl (electronic steering lock motor) has failed, probably related to the impact to the column. Needs to go on a diagnostic computer to confirm

I've got the battery on charge now. It was only on the truck for 20 minutes at the most. I've got icarsoft but obviously it won't work because the ignition won't turn on

The alarm did trigger when it was jacked up so is there some type of anti tow system that's been triggered?

So I've managed to fix it. It was the tin can motor in the steering lock. Had to remove the complete steering column and drill it off! It started perfectly after that.. for a week! Then it died on a set of traffic lights!
Cranks over fine but won't start. These are the fault codes the ****** diva is throwing up now.

Sounds like a Maf is dead. but shouldnt stop car starting.

if your car was repaired by insurance - take it back to them.

Sorry, I did miss the rest of the post though, check the fuses as I am sure a short here can blow a fuse. see if those codes are still there with both MAF's unplugged

No it wasn't. Disconnected the maf sensor to see if it would go into limp but made no difference

I've not tried the codes with both mafs disconnected, and I'll have a look at the fuses

if it changes from short to open circuit in the codes, then internal fault with maf, otherwise check wiring

Just seemed strange that it would die and not go into limp
