Hi folks,

Wondering if anyone as had a C63 B3 service done - well the B3 comes from what ASSYST+ is saying the dash. The car is now 4 years old and it would be the 2nd B Service so don't understand the B3 designation.

MB ESS says this is a standard B service, plus 2 year additional work (brake fluid change), plus 4 Year/45k mile additional work (change the sparks) and usual oil+filter+cabin filter.

Has anyone got any experience of cost of this type of service or any additional advice?

Just wanting to learn from others experiences.

Thanks,
Kamal

Well, standard B service so £400 ish plus £100 for a brake fluid change, cabin filter £50, spark plugs - I have no idea what MB charge these days or whether the 63 is a twin spark so something between £200 and £400 I'd guess.
All negotiable though - worth ringing a few dealers or more sensibly an indie who'll cut that lot in half.

Well, I was getting quotes up and down the country for the same service on my W204 2007 C180 Komp, they were quoting figures of around £600 :O !!!

Mercedes-Benz Of Northampton agreed to do it at a fixed price of £430, which I found very reasonable compared to other main dealers. The service their was terrific, I was given a complimentary full valet, and taken very good care of, the car has also been fantastic, and 5 months down the line, no problems to report, touch wood it stays like this! They also did a very good price for 2 rear tyres that needed doing prior to my MOT.

I would estimate the cost of your C63, AT BEST!!! to be around £500, or other main dealers would probably at estimate, charge around £700.

If you are wanting to go to an Independent Mercedes Specialist, these guys seem to be worth a shot, have not used them myself as I want to keep my car dealer serviced...

Free MOT with full service
Free Collection and delivery
Free Valet (Inside/Out)
Free Winter check
Free Top Ups (On Saturdays)
Star Machine

Whatever you choose to do, I hope it works out for the best!

Go to a reputable indy where you know the work will be carried out to a good standard at a half reasonable price.
