Hi ther,I,m new here currently runnig a CLK 55AMG W209 model but looks like its going at the end of May for an Obsidian black C63AMG.Hope I have made the right decision

Yes I would say so based on what you read and see in the press. What is the exact spec? Someone I know of has taken the smaller wheel option as with the big wheels the ride was far too hard. Looks the danglies in white too.

Be prepared to lose a lot of wedge over time though. AMGs always plummet and with the current national obsession with the new taxes, cars like this are going to be even less popular over time. BUT, if you can afford it and are prepared for some grief then good for you.

The C63 is an excellent car. I heard your best to add the LSD (comes in the AMG drivers pack).

It has beat the M3 at its own game.

Yes I have specced it with the performance pack 19" wheels etcand a good few toys,tried to get them to pre -register it but they said it was to new a model for this.

Did you try the M3 before you ordered the car?

I went to see the M3 but have never been a BMW fan,its nice,but not my style.

I borrowed the new M3 saloon from the Edinburgh dealer for 4 days and was v v v impressed with it. However I have not driven the C63 to compare

The guys on the BMW forum seem happy with their M3s and now that the DCT M3 is out (and the saloon) the C63 is a natural competitor. I'd buy a C63 based on noise alone!
