I have a W202 C180 classic 1997, can anyone advise if there is a cabin filter as the fan sounds like its working its nuts off but does not deliver the amount of air you would expect for such effort. Thanks
Hi,
It does sound like it could be a pollen filter, try this link below, its a "how to" on how to replace it, new filters are quite cheap, less than £20, http://202tech.mkosonen.com/howto/blower.html
Yes there is a filter. Its in the passenger footwell. Take off the lower trim below the glove box, take off the plastic cover held by 2 slides, pull out element. a bit fiddly to put back. I found that on my non A/C 202, the extra airflow without the filter gave a better cooling effect (it was a rare hot summer in Scotland)
